Prepare a COME Update Without Losing Your Starting Point
Start a COME update by noting what already works. Keep your existing installation and account access available while you check the proposed replacement.
Make a short record before changing anything
Note your installed version, the device model and the exact reason for updating. An unavailable feature or a connection error does not necessarily mean the app is outdated. Avoid clearing app data or uninstalling as a first experiment: either action can remove information you need to sign in again.
Inspect the update control
COME Settings shows a Check Update option beside language and sound controls. Read the response on your own device. A Latest Version message is a status from that check, while a release number identifies a version; keep the two observations separate.

Compare the proposed file
Use the download page to review the source and any release details. A different filename can still refer to the same version, while a familiar filename can be reused for another file. If the provider does not explain an identity mismatch, do not remove the old app to make the new file fit.
Verify the result before tidying up
When an update completes, open the app and check its version and the task you needed to perform. Confirm account access before considering any cleanup. Keep error messages and the source address if the update fails; repeated downloads are not a substitute for identifying the failing stage.
Separate account help from update help
A forgotten password belongs to account recovery, even if it appears after an update. Use the relevant support topic at the destination service. Do not share passwords, one-time codes or full payment details in a troubleshooting screenshot.
